The Czinka Panna Roma Cultural Association wanted to commemorate the victims of the Roma Holocaust in a worthy way and therefore submitted a proposal to the Civil Fund 2014. Due to the successful application a supplementary convention was held in Bük on 29-30 May, 2014, entitled „Do not forget!” Rome Holocaust Historical Conference and a memorial day on 2 August, called „Do not forget!” Roma Holocaust Remembrance Day. Although the application did not require a contribution, the Association added an Auschwitz visit to the project together with the county Roma national self-government, so it could place a wreath at the Auschwitz monument.
