These two settlements did not have independent Gypsy minority self-governments, although there were many Gypsies living here. There was a high unemployment rate in both settlements, which affected the Gypsy community best.

On 6 December 2008, we hosted a Santa Claus Gifting event in both settlements, where we surprised the children in need.
