On September 21-22, 2017, a conference was organised for the 60th anniversary of the European Social Fund by the Ministry of Human Resources in Szolnok. The Czinka Panna Roma Cultural Association was also invited to the Conference and the president of the association, László Jakus, was honoured to be invited, as the only speaker from a Hungarian Roma civil organization, to a round table discussion on social inclusion.

The conference reviewed the ESF support in Hungary, starting from 2004, and provided an opportunity for EU observers from Brussels to receive information on the use of ESF resources in Hungary. The domestic and foreign visitors were introduced to a lot of useful information and to roundtable discussions that recognise good practices, but also contain critical statements.
