VI. Czinka Panna Roma Culture Evening was held on 25th September 2010 in Dunakapu Square of Győr. The event began at 7 pm with the opening speeches of the main sponsors and patrons. At the cultural event, the Győr county town was represented by deputy mayor, Dr. Tivadar Somogyi, and on behalf of the Győr-Moson-Sopron County General Assembly, Dr. Imre Szakács greeted the performers and the audience. Finally, Flórián Farkas gave a few welcoming words on behalf of the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice.
At the event, the world-famous Rajkó Orchestra and Dance group gave an amazing performance in 2 x 50 minutes. At the end of the first episode, a local girl: Alexandra Jónás had the opportunity to sing with the Orchestra. During the break the audience could see the high-quality performance of the Értényi Vadrózsák dance group. At the end of the break, a special act took place on the stage, as a musical instrument maker master from Budapest came to Győr for our event to offer a viola (worth a million) to the Rajkó Orchestra. The instrument was handed over in front of the audience of Győr. In the second part of the evening, in addition to classical pieces and dance choreography, Brigitta Nova and her Dance group entertained the audience with Hungarian and Gypsy songs.
We can say that a very high-quality event has been realized. Unfortunately, the weather was not kind to us. During the event it started to rain, so the crowd of 600 dropped to a 100 by the end of the evening.
